There is a group that can be found on the Internet that incorrectly defines, among many other things, the use of the word "prophetess" as being a false prophet. Nothing could be further from the truth (see the discussion below). A false prophet is a prophet who does not respond to the spirit of God but rather from their own spirit and for their own means.
