Some commentaries infer that for the scriptures of 2 Kings 22:14 and 2 Chron. 34:22 to have been taken to the prophet Huldah means one of the better prophets was unavailable. A male prophet was out of town so second choice was a female prophet. The High Priest of the story who took the scripture to Huldah was Hilkiah who may have been the son in law of Huldah's husband Shallum (1 Chron. 6:12) Note further that the name of prophet Jeremiah's father was also Hilkiah (Jere.1:1; 2 Chron. 34:9). So --- it would seem unlikely that this High Priest would have taken the text of scripture to an inferior prophet.
